2006 Events Program

It's sailing season again and the steering committee is working to make the season exciting for everyone. Aside from the day sails and racing, we've scheduled special events throughout the summer ranging from the popular "Full Moon Sails" to the End of Year Regatta.

This year we encourage all members to bring a guest to each "Full Moon Sail." If you've never been, we sail till dusk and then (for a small fee) enjoy hor d'ourves with beer and wine dockside while appreciating the moon and the city lights.

We're going to have 3 special events similar to last year's holiday events with scavenger hunts and the 2nd Annual Colgate Olympics. These 3 events are all focused on fun first and improving and showing off sailing skills second.

Remember it's at events like these where members meet, become friends, sailing buddies and charter buddies. Many club members charter together in places like the Chesapeake Bay, New England, the BVI's, the San Juan Islands, the South Pacific and many others.

The committee is also working on a few additional events to be announced as plans are settled. All Events will be displayed on the calendar so stay tuned to the website for specifics.
