* We want all club members to have positive sailing experiences on the water. A corollary to that principal is we want to avoid serious problems for the sailors and the Offshore staff. To that end the club management has established four “sailing zones” and will post recommended zones to be used for each sailing session during the season. The recommendations will be made based on predicted currents in our home waters. Be advised that sailing in zone D always requires filing a float plan with the branch manager.

The zones are shown by color coding on the posted maps of the Hudson River and New York Harbor.
